Haven't updated this in... God, forever! So I'm going to update it now!
I've found myself basically running the livery stable. Our manager's last weekend is coming up, which means it's time for me to step up... Bamber and Cream Puff have bonded immensely, but I was proud to learn that Bamber doesn't mind going out alone on the trails still.
A friend invited us to join their team penning "crew" and Bam is also shaping up to enter in Cowboy races. I've also been hired to work with a green broke & "very rude" 4-year-old Appaloosa mare, Impressive bred. (If you're a trainer, you'll know Impressive means headaches!)
And as you can imagine, drawing has also been slow because I've been so busy... I've been slowly nursing a few drawings and doing some studies where I can.

Sorry that I haven't been around and about much, folks.
The day before yesterday was another strenuous training day for my pony Bamber (a.k.a. Lil Joe); we were working on his bringing his head down and traveling less hallow (that is, not running with his head high). I got some tips from a local trainer regarding draw reins, a tool used to help bring the horse's head down. I applied it.
I got on for the second ride. The first ride had been a magnificent thing; we walked around, turned, stopped. All of this with a halter & lead rope! This second ride he was well-equip with an o-ring snaffle. I got on and was getting my weight ready to go, he
Artsy stuff.

While Ross was on his arse watching TV and I was working on an important pencil commission, RJ ran off (into the same room with Ross) with my stylus pen for my tablet. With this, plus some other BS going on this past week I'm about ready to call it quits.
So if any of you can help me out, I'm trying to find a replacement pen for my Wacom Bamboo Pen (CTL-460). I couldn't find it in the store of Wacom.com (you know because they apparently have just the new shit, they don't have any of the other models on there). I'm not going to buy an all-new tablet; I just want the pen.

THIS would have all been avoided
